ArtPrize 2026: Doodle Street

Doodle Street is an interactive art experience designed to spark creativity in kids of all ages. Families will find plenty to explore together, including hands-on art-making activities, performances, and movement-based fun. The Grand Rapids Public Museum will host creative stations, while you'll also encounter a climbing wall from Scouting America, LEGO-building opportunities with Bricks & Mini Figs, and a special ArtPrize take-home craft project. One of the highlights is a large chalk art area in a closed parking lot where kids can contribute to a community masterpiece. There's also a Day of the Dead-themed art project, plus performances from West Michigan Youth Ballet throughout the day. Whether your children are into visual arts, building, dancing, or outdoor activities, Doodle Street brings together enough variety to keep the whole family engaged and inspired.
