ArtPrize 2026: FREE Take-Home Collage Event w/Janiah Skye

Artist Janiah Skye invites families to create their own collages inspired by her ArtPrize 2026 work at this free, drop-in event. You'll have access to precut images, landscape backgrounds, and all the supplies you need—scissors, glue, and more—to make a finished piece to take home. The activity welcomes creators of all ages, so whether your child is just discovering art or you want to make something together as a family, there's room for everyone. Janiah's "Flower Ladies" series explores connections between femininity and nature through digital collages of women, flowers, and landscapes. As you participate, you're invited to think about what the images mean to you—what words come to mind, what memories surface, what connections you notice? It's a chance to engage with art in a thoughtful, hands-on way while creating something beautiful to display at home. No experience necessary, and best of all, it's completely free.
