Bilingual Family Time

Bilingual Family Time brings stories, songs, and movement together in one welcoming hour at the West Side Branch. Your little ones will enjoy a 30-minute storytime presented in both English and Spanish, complete with music and movement activities that keep young children engaged. After storytime wraps up, families transition into hands-on activities and free playtime, giving kids a chance to explore and connect with other families in the community. This program is designed for the youngest learners—babies through five-year-olds—making it perfect for parents wanting to expose their children to bilingual learning in a relaxed, library setting. The full session runs one hour total, giving you time to enjoy stories and play without feeling rushed. Sessions happen multiple times throughout the fall, so you can join once or make it a regular outing with your family.
