Bluegrass Revue

Celebrate West Michigan's bluegrass scene with local musicians at Fountain Street Church.

Bluegrass lovers of all ages will enjoy this celebration of West Michigan's growing music scene. The evening features four talented groups performing traditional and contemporary bluegrass, including local favorites Red Thyme, Futuretime Stringband, and Ben Traverse and the Little River Stringband, alongside special guest Sequoia Rose, an award-winning flatpicker visiting from Nashville. The performances take place in the intimate setting of Fountain Street Church's small chapel, creating a cozy atmosphere for live music. This is a welcoming, accessible event with no barriers to entry—admission is free with a suggested donation of $10–20, and no one will be turned away based on ability to pay. Each band brings its own style, whether blending traditional bluegrass with indie influences, mixing global sounds with timeless string-band traditions, or drawing from Appalachian and American roots. It's a great opportunity for families to experience quality live music in a community-focused setting.
