Caledonia Lakeside: Art in Nature

Your family will begin with a guided walk through the park to spark creativity, then move into hands-on art-making with various materials. Depending on the session, you might work with printmaking, sculpture, watercolors, or other mediums inspired by the natural setting around you. This program welcomes all ages, though adult supervision is required for every child participant—it's not a drop-off activity. Plan to arrive a few minutes early since the program starts promptly, and be prepared for outdoor conditions with appropriate clothing and sturdy footwear for unpaved trails. Pricing is $5 per adult and $8 per child ages 2 and up, with children under 2 admitted free. Pre-registration is strongly encouraged since spots fill up, and you can register online until one hour before the start time. Walk-ins are welcome only if space remains available. The program takes place at least partially outdoors and will proceed rain or shine. If you have mobility concerns, reach out ahead of time so staff can help accommodate your group. Note that registrations are non-refundable, though the park will offer transfers to other programs if severe weather causes a cancellation.
