Caledonia Lakeside Park: Bumblebee Nature Walk

Join us for a guided nature walk where young explorers discover the wonders of Caledonia Lakeside Park with a trained educator from Blandford Nature Center. Each child receives an explorer backpack filled with tools designed to help them observe and learn about the natural world around them. Your family will spend time on park trails, encouraging curiosity-based discovery at every turn. This program works best for children ages 5–12, though younger and older siblings are welcome with registration. Plan to arrive a few minutes early, as the walk begins promptly at the scheduled time. Admission is $5 per adult and $5 per child ages 2 and up; children under 2 are free. Since space is limited, pre-registration is strongly recommended through online registration (open until one hour before start time), though walk-ins are welcome if spots remain. Remember that this is not a drop-off program—a registered adult must supervise registered children throughout. The walk happens rain or shine, so dress for weather and wear sturdy shoes suitable for unpaved paths.
