Caledonia Lakeside Park: Hike with A Naturalist

Join Blandford Nature Center's experienced educators for a guided nature walk designed to help families explore the park and learn together. During this beginner-friendly hike, you'll discover how to use field guide apps and nature guides to identify plants and animals you encounter. It's a wonderful way to experience what Caledonia Lakeside Park has to offer in the summer season, whether you're brand new to nature observation or looking to build your skills. This program works best for adults and children ages 12 and up, though younger children are welcome with a registered adult supervisor present throughout. Admission is $5 per person for adults and children ages 2 and up, while children under 2 are free. The hike takes place mostly outdoors on park trails, so dress for the weather with sturdy shoes for unpaved paths—the program runs rain or shine. Pre-registration is strongly encouraged since space is limited and can fill up. Walk-ins are accepted only if spots remain available. Please arrive a few minutes early, as the group departs promptly at start time.
