Caledonia Lakeside Park: Nature Sensory Experience

Take your young explorer on a guided nature walk designed to engage all five senses. You and your child will stroll the park trails together, listening for birds, spotting rainbow colors in the landscape, feeling soft textures, and smelling the plants around you. This hands-on experience helps little ones connect with the natural world in a playful, meaningful way. The program works best for children ages 2–6, though older and younger siblings are welcome with registration. Admission is $5 per adult and child (ages 2+), with free entry for children under 2. This is not a drop-off program—you'll stay with your child the entire time. Plan to arrive early, as the group departs promptly. The activity takes place largely outdoors along unpaved trails, so dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes. Pre-registration is strongly recommended since spaces fill up, though walk-ins are accepted if availability remains. If severe weather forces cancellation, your registration transfers to another similar program.
