**PLEASE NOTE: THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED** This program was originally scheduled for July 1st but has been cancelled due to high heat and rescheduled to July 8th, 2026. This is an adults-only guided hike led by a Land Stewardship Manager at The Highlands. You'll explore the site and learn how a former golf course has been transformed into wetlands and prairie habitat. Come prepared with comfortable walking shoes, weather-appropriate clothing, and any questions about the natural world you'd like to explore. Pre-registration is required, and spots are limited. Registration closes at noon on the day of the program, though you can join a waitlist if the program fills up. The cost is $10 for non-members or $8 for members. The hike will happen rain or shine (except in severe weather), so dress accordingly. If Blandford must cancel due to weather, you'll receive an email with refund or rescheduling options. A cancellation policy applies: requests made 7 or more days ahead qualify for a 50% refund, while cancellations within 7 days are non-refundable.
