Chalk-A-Palooza

Chalk-A-Palooza turns the Akron Zoo into a giant canvas where kids and families get to create their own colorful artwork right on the pathways. As you explore the zoo and visit the animals, you'll see amazing chalk creations throughout the grounds—and you're invited to add your own masterpiece to the display. It's a fun way to let creativity flow while spending the day outdoors at the zoo. This event runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., so you can drop by whenever works best for your family. General admission to the zoo applies, though Akron Zoo members get in free.
