Circus Arts with the Grand Rapids Circus Project

Hands-on circus arts workshop at Grand Rapids Public Library.

Your kids can explore the exciting world of circus arts at this hands-on workshop led by the Grand Rapids Circus Project. This two-hour program welcomes young performers ages 8–18 to try their hand at aerial arts, balancing techniques, and other circus skills while building teamwork and creative confidence. Whether your child is a complete beginner or has some experience, the instructors create a supportive, playful atmosphere where everyone can learn at their own pace and discover what they're capable of. The workshop focuses on movement, balance, and self-expression—skills that translate far beyond the circus ring. It's a great way for kids to challenge themselves physically and mentally in a fun setting. The program is made possible through generous support from the Grand Rapids Public Library Foundation and local community partners.
