Community Leadership Camp

This program invites middle-grade students and a grown-up to spend three hours exploring civic engagement and leadership at the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum. The experience combines interactive discussions, hands-on activities, and a guided tour of the museum itself, giving young people a chance to think about what it means to be an active leader in their community. Best of all, the program is completely free. The camp is designed for students in grades 6 through 8 who are curious about civic life and want to develop their leadership skills. Each session runs for three hours and includes museum access, so families get a full educational experience in one visit. If your child is interested in history, government, or how they can make a difference, this is a great summer opportunity to learn and explore together.
