Community Leadership Camp at the Ford
Leadership-focused summer camp at the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum.
This summer, the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum invites middle schoolers (grades 6–8) and their grown-ups to explore what it means to be a community leader. Over three hours, your group will participate in guided discussions and hands-on activities, including a full tour of the museum. You'll examine the Declaration of Independence and learn from the civic examples set by President Gerald Ford and First Lady Betty Ford—discovering how their leadership can inspire your own.
The best part? This program is completely free. Spots are limited, so you'll need to register ahead of time to secure your place. It's a great opportunity for families looking to spark conversations about civic responsibility and what active community members do to make a difference.
