Community Leadership Camp at the Ford

This summer, the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum invites middle-grade students (grades 6–8) and their accompanying adults to explore what it means to be an engaged community leader. Over three hours, participants will take part in guided discussions and activities, including a tour of the museum itself. The program draws inspiration from historical documents like the Declaration of Independence and the examples set by President Gerald Ford and First Lady Betty Ford. Best of all, this program is completely free. Space is limited, so families will need to register in advance to secure a spot. It's a meaningful way for young people to think about civic responsibility and leadership while learning in an interactive museum setting.
