CONNECT: An Immersive Experience with Carolyn Ferrari

CONNECT is an immersive art exhibition at 106 Gallery that brings together visual art, spoken word, and music inspired by Carolyn Ferrari's album of the same name. The show features Ferrari's poetry alongside musical compositions and artwork created in response to her work. Together, these elements explore meaningful themes like memory, identity, vulnerability, and the healing process. The opening reception runs Friday, September 4th from 6 to 9 p.m., giving families a chance to experience the full scope of the exhibition right from the start. Between September 4th and 26th, the gallery is open Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 1 to 4 p.m., plus the weekend closing day on Saturday, September 26th from 1 to 5 p.m. This collaborative show was curated by Annamarie Buller, Carolyn Ferrari, and Blake Matthews. It's a wonderful opportunity for older kids and teens interested in poetry, visual art, or contemporary creative projects to engage with thoughtfully produced work that invites reflection.
