DeutscheMarques Oktoberfest, Color Tour & Market

Spend a fall day celebrating German heritage and classic cars at this family-friendly festival. The event features a beer hall open throughout the day, a costume contest with prizes for traditionally dressed participants (in categories for gentlemen, ladies, children, and families), and an Oktoberfest market filled with craft vendors, antiques, and swap-meet finds. The highlight for car enthusiasts is the German Car Color Tour, which departs at 10:00 a.m. with additional tours leaving every 20 minutes for registered groups—listen for announcements to know when yours departs. Live music from the DeutscheMarques Oom-Pah band and authentic German food and beverages round out the experience. Admission is a $35 donation (cash preferred) at the gate, which covers one German car, its driver, one passenger, and full museum access for everyone in that vehicle. Extra museum tickets for additional guests are $25 each. This is a fundraiser benefiting the Gilmore Car Museum. Families are encouraged to dress in traditional German attire to participate in the costume contest.
