Drone Derby

Your kids will get hands-on experience with drone technology at Adventure Point's inaugural drone derby. Throughout the day, participants learn the fundamentals of how drones work, then move on to building their own aircraft from components. Once construction is complete, it's time for the exciting part—taking your finished drone out to the flying field and piloting it yourself. The event runs from 9am to 4pm, with doors opening at 8am for early arrivals and pickup at 4pm. This full-day activity is perfect for kids curious about technology, engineering, and outdoor recreation. Whether your child is brand new to drones or already interested in them, the program walks everyone through each step. First Flight Drones and Adventure Point are co-hosting the event, bringing together expertise in drone instruction and family entertainment. It's a great opportunity for kids to learn, create, and have fun in one outing.
