Estate Sale for Freedom

This is the second year WAR Chest Boutique is hosting an estate sale to support Women At Risk, International—an organization that helps rescued and at-risk women worldwide. Community members have donated quality items like fine china, crystal, vintage furniture, estate jewelry, and toys in excellent condition. All proceeds go directly to the organization's mission: roughly $300 supports one woman in an international safehouse for a full month, during which she can pursue education, job training, counseling, medical care, and childcare while receiving full-time wages. The sale runs over five days with varying hours, held on the boutique's front lawn (weather permitting, or inside if needed). Shoppers of all ages can browse donated treasures while supporting a meaningful cause. If you have quality items to donate, the organization accepts contributions through July 1st and provides tax-deductible receipts. Volunteers interested in helping price items are also welcome to get involved. Any unsold merchandise goes to secondhand shops aligned with the organization's values.
