Fallasburg Park: Bumblebee Nature Walk

Join us for a guided nature exploration designed to help young children discover the outdoors. A Blandford Educator will lead your family on a walk through Fallasburg Park, providing backpacks filled with tools and equipment to investigate nature up close. The focus is on curiosity-driven learning—your child will have hands-on ways to explore plants, insects, and the natural world around them. This program works best for children ages 2–6, though older and younger siblings are welcome with registration. Keep in mind this is not a drop-off experience; a registered adult must stay with all children throughout. The walk takes place outdoors rain or shine, so dress for the weather with sturdy shoes for unpaved paths. Cost is $5 per adult and $5 per child age 2 and up; children under 2 are free. Pre-registration is recommended since space fills up, and you can register online until one hour before the program starts. Walk-ins are welcome if spots remain available. Please arrive a few minutes early, as the group departs promptly.
