Fallasburg Park: Hike with a Naturalist

Join Blandford Nature Center's environmental educators for a guided nature walk designed to build your family's outdoor observation skills. You'll learn how to use field guides and nature apps to identify plants and animals as you explore the park's seasonal highlights. This program welcomes participants of all ages, though it's best suited for adults and children 12 and up. Younger children can attend with a registered adult supervisor, but this is not a drop-off program—a grown-up must stay with children throughout. Registration is recommended since space is limited, and you can register online until one hour before the program starts. Walk-in participants are welcome if spots remain available. The cost is $5 per adult and per child ages 2 and up; children under 2 are free. The hike begins at the Enclosed Shelter near the main parking lot and includes walking on unpaved park trails, so wear sturdy shoes and dress for the weather—programs run rain or shine. If you have mobility concerns, let organizers know ahead of time so they can help make adjustments.
