Fallasburg Park: Nature Storytime

Bring your little ones to the Enclosed Shelter at Fallasburg Park for an afternoon of outdoor storytelling. Educators from Blandford will share tales about Michigan's plants and animals, sparking your child's curiosity about nature. After the stories wrap up, everyone gets to participate in an outdoor activity or craft project together. This program works best for children ages 2–6, though older and younger kids are welcome with registration. Admission is $5 per child ages 2 and up, with free entry for adults and children under 2. Since space fills up, pre-registration is strongly recommended (online registration closes one hour before start time, though walk-ins are accepted if spots remain). Keep in mind this isn't a drop-off program—a registered adult must stay with children the entire time. Most activities involve walking park trails, so dress for the weather with sturdy shoes and layers. If mobility is a concern, reach out ahead of time and the organizers will work with you to adjust the experience.
