From Iceland to the Grand River

From Iceland to the Grand River at Wealthy Theatre

Join us for a free screening of *Time and Water*, an award-winning National Geographic documentary inspired by Icelandic author Andri Snær Magnason's environmental work. The film explores themes of climate, water stewardship, and what we leave for future generations—starting with Iceland's glaciers but raising universal questions that hit close to home here in West Michigan. You'll have the chance to hear directly from author Magnason and director Sara Dosa during a live virtual Q&A before the screening begins. The evening runs from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m., with an optional informal discussion afterward where you can chat with neighbors about the film and its connection to our community's Grand River restoration efforts. Admission is completely free and open to everyone—just register in advance to guarantee your spot. If you'd like, you can make a voluntary donation to Grand Rapids WhiteWater instead of paying admission. It's a thoughtful way to spend an evening learning about water, climate, and community action.
