Full Moon Night Hike

Step outside for an evening of moonlight exploration timed with September's Harvest Moon. You'll learn about lunar phases and then head out on a guided hike under the moon's glow. Before you go, stop by the Wildlife Center to observe which nocturnal animals are active after dark—a great way to see the center's residents in their element. This experience works best for kids ages 10 and up, along with adults. Anyone under 18 needs to register and be accompanied by a registered adult. Admission is $13 for non-members or $10.40 for members (20% discount). Since space is limited, pre-registration is required; online sign-ups close at noon the day before the event. Plan to dress for outdoor conditions, and note that bad weather will result in cancellation with refund options provided. If the program sells out, you can still register to join the waitlist, and the center will contact you if spots open up.
