Gelli Plate

Join instructor Julie for a hands-on introduction to Gelli Plate printing, a technique for transferring images onto fabric. You'll work with pictures from magazines or laser-printed photos to create custom designs. All materials are provided, so you just need to bring your creativity. To get the most out of the session, plan ahead by selecting two images you'd like to use and submitting them at least three days before the class begins. This workshop is perfect for anyone curious about fabric printing and textile art. If you fall in love with the technique, know that a follow-up session will be offered later in the year for those wanting to add embellishments to their finished prints. It's a great way to learn a new skill in a supportive, creative environment at the Holland Area Arts Council.
