Grand Rapids Ballet: The Nutcracker

The Nutcracker is a beloved holiday ballet that tells the magical story of a girl named Clara and her journey through a enchanted world filled with dancing snowflakes, flowers, and the famous Sugar Plum Fairy. This Grand Rapids Ballet production features live orchestral music, elaborate costumes, and graceful dancers performing the classic Tchaikovsky score. It's a perfect introduction to ballet and theater for families—visually stunning, whimsical, and engaging for both children experiencing their first live performance and adults who return to this tradition year after year.
