Habitat Heroes | Grades 2-3

Habitat Heroes teaches environmental science to second and third graders.

Habitat Heroes is a four-day camp designed for children entering grades 2 and 3 this fall. Your child will spend mornings exploring the natural world right in our own backyard, learning about local wildlife like birds, bats, bees, and other creatures. Through guided outdoor exploration, engaging games, and storytelling from wildlife experts, campers will discover what animals need to survive and how they can make a real difference in protecting our ecosystems. The highlight of the week is a hands-on building project where each camper designs and constructs their own wildlife shelter—a birdhouse, bat box, or bee hotel—to take home and install in their own yard. This camp strikes a great balance between outdoor adventure and creative learning, giving second and third graders a chance to become genuine habitat heroes in their communities. Full refunds are available if you cancel more than a week before the camp starts.
