Heights of Hope 5k & 1.5 Mile Fun Run

Join your neighbors for a community race with a fun twist—everyone dresses up in their favorite decade style, from groovy 70s to neon 80s vibes. You can run the full 5k, walk the 1.5-mile fun run at your own pace, or simply enjoy a casual stroll. The 1.5-mile option isn't timed, so there's no pressure—every participant gets a finisher prize. The route loops through the Abbey Court and Stratford Way neighborhood and passes the Heights of Hope Community Center. Kids will love seeing Flash the Flamingo along the way, and yes, well-behaved leashed dogs are welcome too. After crossing the finish line, stick around for the real celebration. Enjoy complimentary pulled pork sandwiches, fresh blueberries, Biggby iced coffee, and ice cream from the Polar Patrol truck. An awards ceremony follows with prizes for top finishers across multiple age groups, costume contests, and raffle giveaways.
