HOME PORTRAITS IN WATERCOLOR

This class invites you to paint a watercolor portrait of a home that means something to you—whether that's the house you grew up in, your current place, or a cherished memory. You'll work with instructor Cecilia of Cecilia Rae Artistry to transform a photo you submit ahead of time into finished artwork. Cecilia prepares a printed sketch of your home, and during class you'll transfer it onto watercolor paper using carbon paper, so there's no pressure to draw freehand. You'll learn to mix warm, inviting color palettes and master techniques for painting realistic windows, shadows, plants, and depth. By the end of the session, you'll have an 8×10 completed portrait ready to frame, gift, or display. This is a welcoming option for watercolor beginners and anyone wanting to create something personally meaningful. The structured approach—with the sketch already prepared—makes it easy to focus on painting and building your skills.
