HOME PORTRAITS IN WATERCOLOR Bring a cherished home to life on paper during this guided watercolor workshop led by artist Cecilia of Cecilia Rae Artistry. Whether you're painting your childhood house, current home, or a special place meaningful to someone you love, you'll create an 8×10 finished portrait. The process is designed to welcome artists of all skill levels: you'll submit a photo ahead of time, Cecilia prepares a printed sketch, and during class you'll transfer the outline onto watercolor paper using carbon transfer paper. This approach lets you focus on the creative part without worrying about drawing accuracy. Throughout the session, you'll learn to mix warm, natural color palettes and master techniques for painting architectural details like windows, shadows, and surrounding greenery. You'll also discover how to layer watercolor for depth and polish, plus get tips on framing and displaying your finished piece.
