LEGO® Workshop: Micro Cities & Landscapes
Build tiny LEGO worlds at Bricks & Minifigs with creative landscaping tips.
Learn to design tiny worlds during this hands-on LEGO workshop led by Nathan Petersen, co-owner of Bricks & Minifigs Grand Rapids. You'll discover techniques for building miniature landscapes on small plates—picking up skills for crafting detailed buildings, trees, water features, and more using just a handful of bricks. Nathan specializes in microscale building and has created everything from whole cities to animals and action scenes, and he'll guide you through creating your own mini scene that you get to take home.
This workshop welcomes builders ages 12 and up. Parents of children under 16 will need to sign a release form before the session starts. The cost is $10 per participant. This event is part of the Brick Lab series, a new lineup of workshops designed to strengthen building skills and connect LEGO enthusiasts in the community. If you complete six workshops in the series, you'll earn a "Certified Brickster" certificate and a surprise gift.
