Magic at the Mill

Magic at the Mill is back for its fifth year at Windmill Island Gardens, bringing an expanded holiday light display to the December evenings. The centerpiece features a stunning "tulip field" made of 1,000 LED flowers that light up and dance in sync with holiday music. The entire windmill and grounds will be beautifully illuminated, creating a festive atmosphere perfect for families. Beyond the light show, there's plenty to enjoy during your visit. Kids can ride the carousel, listen to traditional Dutch holiday music from an authentic street organ, and meet Sinterklaas—the Dutch version of Santa Claus. The gift shops will be open for holiday shopping, and food and drink options are available for purchase. This is a ticketed event designed for all ages, so bring the whole family for an evening of holiday magic. Tickets will go on sale closer to the season.
