Member Playtime

Member Playtime is an open-play session at the Grand Rapids Children's Museum designed for young visitors to explore the museum's interactive exhibits and learning spaces at their own pace. Families can expect hands-on activities spanning science, art, building, and imaginative play—perfect for preschool and early elementary-aged children to develop curiosity and creativity through self-directed exploration. It's an unstructured, low-pressure way for kids to engage with the museum's collections while parents supervise and participate as much or as little as they'd like.
