Naturalist Hike - Various Times and Locations

Join Blandford Nature Center's environmental educators for a guided nature walk designed for beginners and seasoned explorers alike. You'll learn practical skills like using field guide apps and nature identification guides while exploring seasonal plants and animals in your local parks. The hike offers a wonderful way to discover what's currently thriving in the area, whether you're brand new to nature observation or just want to refresh your knowledge. This program welcomes families, though it's primarily designed with adults in mind and best suited for children ages 12 and up. Younger children are welcome but must be registered with a supervising adult present throughout—this is not a drop-off program. Cost is $5 per adult and child age 2+, with children under 2 free. Hikes take place mostly outdoors on park trails, rain or shine, so dress for weather and wear sturdy footwear. Registration is strongly recommended since space fills up, and walks begin promptly at the listed time. If you have mobility concerns, reach out ahead to discuss trail adjustments.
