Ozobot Explorers | Grades 4-6

Ozobot robotics workshop teaches coding through hands-on exploration.

Is your child ready to explore the intersection of creativity and technology? This four-day camp invites students entering grades 4–6 to dive into the world of robotics using Ozobots—tiny, programmable robots that respond to colors, patterns, and code. Through hands-on projects and design challenges, campers will experiment with building tracks, testing different approaches, and collaborating with peers to solve real problems. Each session builds on the previous day's skills, giving students a full introduction to STEM thinking in an engaging, playful way. Throughout the camp, your child will work through guided activities that help them understand how these robots move and respond, design custom paths for the Ozobots to follow, and troubleshoot when things don't work as expected. The week wraps up with a team showcase where campers share the creations they've built together. Van Andel Institute for Education structures the program around curiosity and hands-on learning, making it a great fit for kids who enjoy problem-solving and creative projects. Full refunds are available if you cancel more than a week before the camp starts.
