Ready, Set, Print! | Grades 4-6

Ready, Set, Print! is a four-day camp designed for students entering grades 4–6 in the fall. Campers will dive into the world of 3D design and printing through hands-on exploration. Using Tinkercad, an intuitive design platform, students will learn how engineers, artists, and inventors bring ideas to life through digital modeling. Over the four days, participants will move from learning the basics of 3D modeling to designing their own creations and watching them materialize on a 3D printer. Throughout the camp, students will work on guided activities that teach them the fundamentals of 3D design, explore how 3D printing works and its real-world applications, and refine their own digital prototypes. The best part? Each camper takes home their finished 3D-printed creation. This camp is perfect for curious kids who love hands-on learning and want to discover how creativity and problem-solving work together in the design process.
