Recycling Center Open Hours

The Kent County Recycling & Education Center welcomes families during their regular Monday open hours. These free, casual drop-in sessions are designed for visitors of all ages—whether you're coming as a family, a small group, or just stopping by on your own. No registration needed; simply show up and explore at your own pace. During your visit, you'll have plenty to do. Take a self-guided tour through the facility and watch the recycling sorting line in action. Kids can create upcycled crafts, play with recycling-themed toys and games, and check out interactive exhibits about waste and recycling. If you have questions about what can be recycled or how to dispose of items properly, the center's Waste Reduction Educators are on hand to help. It's a hands-on way to learn about environmental responsibility while having fun together.
