Sensory Friendly Playtime at GRCM

This special program offers families a chance to explore the museum in a calm, low-stimulation setting outside regular visiting hours. Organized in partnership with Autism Support of Kent County, Sensory Friendly Playtime creates a quieter, more relaxed environment where children can play and engage with exhibits at their own pace. The sessions run from 5–7pm and are completely free to attend. To participate, you'll need to register in advance. Sessions are scheduled for Monday, August 3, 2026, and Monday, November 2, 2026. This is a great option for families who want a more peaceful museum experience or whose children benefit from reduced crowds and noise levels.
