SOLD OUT | Farm Care Apprentices @ The Blandford Farm

Does your kid dream about farm life or simply love animals? This two-hour hands-on experience at the Blandford Farm gives kids ages 10–15 a real taste of daily animal care. Working with the farm's chickens, goat, and sheep, participants learn the basics of feeding, watering, and enriching the animals' lives—all guided by the farm's Wildlife Programs Specialist. Everyone heads home with a vintage Blandford sticker and plenty of memories from their morning. This is a drop-off program, so parents can relax at the nearby Nature Center (free admission) during the two hours. The farm has parking, restrooms, and hand-washing stations on-site. Registration is required and closes at noon the day before; costs are $60 for non-members or $48 for members. The program runs both indoors and outdoors, so dress your child for the weather. Cancellations made at least a week ahead qualify for a 50% refund; cancellations within seven days are not refundable. Severe weather will result in cancellation with refund options provided.
