SPARK! at the Museum

SPARK! at the Museum at Muskegon Museum of Art

SPARK! at the Museum is a specialized program created for people experiencing early to mid-stage memory loss along with their care partners. Held monthly, the program combines gallery time, creative activities, and peer interaction to keep participants engaged and connected to their community. Each session includes a guided gallery program, hands-on art projects, and meaningful conversations designed to spark creativity and connection. Sessions meet on the third Wednesday of each month, with doors opening at 10 AM. The gathering runs through noon and includes a structured gallery program followed by an art project. The Muskegon Museum of Art is fully wheelchair accessible. Since spots fill up quickly, pre-registration is required. To sign up or learn more, reach out to the curator of education, Heather Placko, at hplacko@muskegonartmuseum.org or call 231-720-2577.
