Spellbinding Science | Grades 7-9

This four-day camp invites students entering grades 7–9 to explore the intersection of magic and science through an immersive wizarding experience. Campers will participate in hands-on activities including wand crafting and themed classes like Potion Brewing, Care of Magical Creatures, and Transfiguration—each designed to reveal the real science behind magical concepts. The camp culminates in a tournament where participants can demonstrate what they've learned. Throughout the week, campers will be sorted into houses and earn points by attending different classes each day, with the winning house receiving the House Cup. This program is hosted by Van Andel Institute for Education, an organization focused on fostering curiosity and critical thinking in young learners. Full refunds are available if you need to cancel more than a week before the camp starts; cancellations within seven days receive a 50% tuition refund (Eventbrite fees are not refundable).
