Summer Sizzler- Grand Rapids

The Summer Sizzler is a community running event that welcomes participants of all abilities and fitness levels. Families can choose from multiple distance options: a 5K, 10K, 15K, or a 1-mile untimed run. There's also a special kids' dash for children 10 and under, which is free to enter if your child prefers to skip the shirt and medal package. Race day starts early with packet pickup beginning at 5:30 a.m., the kids' dash at 6:55 a.m., and the main race at 7:00 a.m. Everyone who registers receives thoughtful perks to make the day memorable. All participants get a custom-designed shirt, a finisher medal, and chip timing with live results posted immediately after crossing the finish line. Free Kona Ice is available at the finish area for everyone to enjoy. Youth pricing for the 5K and 10K is just $17 for children 12 and under, making this an affordable way to get your family involved. To guarantee your shirt size, register by midnight on the Thursday that falls two weeks before race day.
