Tango 21

Join the Holland Area Arts Council for an evening celebrating Argentine Tango with Tango21 Dance Theater, a Chicago-based performance company. This event welcomes dancers of all levels—beginners and experienced movers alike. The program emphasizes authenticity over perfection, creating a judgment-free space where you can show up as yourself. No partner is required, and no prior dance experience is necessary. The evening runs from 6:00 to 9:00 PM, starting with an all-levels tango class, followed by a practica (social dance time) where participants can continue dancing, practice moves, or simply enjoy the community atmosphere. A concurrent music workshop explores the rhythmic and cultural elements of tango. This event is part of a monthly series and highlights tango's benefits for coordination, balance, social connection, and overall well-being. Admission is $20 per person.
