TCDP Summer Tour: Frankfort

The Traverse City Dance Project brings its 15th Anniversary Season tour to Frankfort this summer with a celebration of contemporary dance and live music. Seven professional dancers will perform new works, including a piece choreographed by Jennifer Lott with an original score by Charlie Millard, who will perform live with his band. You'll also see a tap performance by NYC-based artist Madison Hilligoss and a premiere by Artistic Director Brent Whitney, followed by a chance to ask questions directly with the performers. This is a free event, so it's a wonderful way to experience professional dance without worrying about ticket costs. The Charlie Millard Band takes the stage first, with the main performance beginning shortly after. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis—no advance reservations needed, though arriving early is a good idea to secure a good spot.
