TCDP Summer Tour: Kalkaska
Live music summer tour stops in Kalkaska at Railroad Square Pavilion.
The Traverse City Dance Project brings its 15th Anniversary Season tour to Kalkaska with a free performance celebrating professional dance and live music. You'll enjoy seven talented dancers from across the country performing new works, including a piece by Artistic Director Brent Whitney and a tap performance by NYC-based artist Madison Hilligoss. The Charlie Millard Band will perform live music, and the event features a special guest appearance by Fitch's School of Dance.
Arrive early to claim a shaded spot under the pavilion. The festivities kick off with a free kids' dance class at 3:00 PM, followed by live music at the same time and the main performance at 4:00 PM. After the show, stick around for a Q&A with the performers. The event is fully accessible—just reach out in advance if you need any specific accommodations to make your visit comfortable.
