The Fallasburg Village Celebration
Village celebration with classic cars, crafts, and community fun at historic Fallasburg.
The Fallasburg Village Celebration brings together history, hands-on fun, and family entertainment in one jam-packed day. You'll find activities for every age and interest—from a petting zoo and horseback riding to a Civil War encampment and archaeological dig. Kids can visit Santa during "Christmas in July," enjoy a pioneer activity area with crafts and games, or take horse-drawn cart rides around the grounds. Several museums open their doors with knowledgeable staff on hand to share stories, and you can tour the historic covered bridge too.
Live demonstrations showcase traditional skills like blacksmithing and glassblowing, while a real cowboy shares tales from the 1850s. A classic car show runs throughout the day, and three live bands provide entertainment. When hunger strikes, reasonably priced meal options include pizza, hot dogs, walking tacos, and pulled pork (from $5–$12), plus homemade ice cream floats. There's also an artisan and vintage market to browse. The Fallasburg Historical Society hosts this celebration, so check their website for any additional details or updates before you go.
