The Great Pumpkin Train 2026

Join this beloved West Michigan autumn tradition aboard a scenic train ride through the countryside. Your 90-minute journey travels from Coopersville to Marne and back, featuring entertainment from the Famous Pumpkin character and her goofy companions as they perform silly antics throughout the ride. Kids and adults alike are encouraged to wear Halloween costumes to add to the festive atmosphere. At the conclusion of your trip, children receive a gift and candy from the Pumpkin and her sidekicks. If you'd like to enhance your experience, Premium Class seating includes table accommodations along with locally sourced cider from Hill Brother's Orchard and one of Coopersville's signature "Delly Belly" pumpkin-themed donuts. Tickets sell out quickly each year, so purchasing early is recommended. Note that this event does not include a visit to or feature an on-site pumpkin patch.
