The Highlands Walk & Talk

Join a guided hike led by Blandford Nature Center's Land Stewardship Manager to explore The Highlands and learn how a former golf course is being transformed into vibrant wetlands and prairie habitat. This is a great opportunity to ask questions about the land restoration work happening at the site while enjoying the natural surroundings. The group will gather at Blandford Nature Center before walking together to The Highlands via an accessible trail, so arrive on time to ensure you don't miss the departure. This program is designed for adults and requires advance registration due to limited spots. Tickets are $10 for non-members and $8 for members. The hike takes place rain or shine, so wear appropriate clothing and sturdy walking shoes. Registration closes at noon on the day of the program, though you can join a waitlist if the event fills up. In case of severe weather, the program will be cancelled and you'll receive email notification about refund or rescheduling options.
