Touch-a-Truck and Open Hours
Kids explore and climb on real trucks at Holland Energy Park.
Bring your family for an afternoon of hands-on exploration at the Holland Energy Park Visitor Center! You'll get an up-close look at how the local power plant operates through interactive exhibits and activities. Kids will love meeting community helpers and checking out a variety of vehicles, including a bucket truck, police cruiser, fire truck, and salt truck. You'll also connect with representatives from the Parks and Recreation Department, Outdoor Discovery Center, and Dirt Lab's RC Construction Zone for some creative, messy fun.
Best of all, this event is completely free to attend. The Visitor Center will have ice cream available from Polar Patrol, so you can grab a treat while you're there. Since space is limited, you'll need to register in advance to secure your spot. It's a great way to learn about the people and infrastructure that serve Holland while giving kids memorable experiences with the vehicles and community partners they may not encounter every day.
