Video Game Design LEGO®-Themed Summer Camp

This camp invites kids ages 9–13 to jump into video game creation using Scratch® software. Participants will build coding and problem-solving skills while designing space-themed games, thinking creatively and working together as a team. Each student constructs a mini LEGO® rocket that serves as the main character in their games, and lessons progress through increasingly advanced coding techniques so learners can tackle new challenges at their own pace. By the end of camp, kids will have completed, played, and taken home their very own games on a flash drive—a tangible reminder of what they've built. This is a great fit for children who enjoy both creative projects and logical thinking, or anyone curious about how games actually work behind the scenes.
