Accessible guided photography walks through downtown Grand Rapids designed for participants with disabilities.
Viewfinder gives kids and adults with disabilities a chance to discover photography in a welcoming, accessible way. Participants explore downtown Grand Rapids on guided routes designed for walkers and wheelchair users, learning creative photography skills matched to each person's abilities. It's a hands-on experience that celebrates how everyone sees the world differently through a camera lens.
The best part? Families get to share in the results. After the guided exploration and learning session, there's a free public showcase where participants display their photos. It's a wonderful opportunity for kids to build confidence, express themselves creatively, and see their work celebrated alongside their peers.
